MAY 2014 CITIZENSHIP APPLICATION / TEST.

Hello Guys,
This is to ask my Co-May 2014 Citizenship Applicants from Edmonton Alberta if any of you out there have been invited for the Citizenship Test?
CIC received my Citizenship Application on the 9th May 2014.
Then sent me a letter acknowledging receipt of my application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on May 9, 2014.
Started processing my application on July 15, 2014.
Till now I have not receive any letter for the Citizenship Test.
Any idea when CIC will likely invited me for the Citizenship Test?

i am in the same boat as our application was received on may 2nd.

i have seen on the spreadsheet that applicants from feb 2014 are getting test letter.

in that sense, our turn should be coming in next month or so for test letters.


did you got finger print request or anything? i did not got any communication after the AOR.

No. The only communication I got from CIC since after my application was a letter
saying that they have received my application and the study book - Discover Canada.
So you were invited for finger print?

Congratulations.

Make sure you study the official "Discover Canada" book multiple times. Don't rely on online free tests as they are just to learn information however you can't rely on them to pass the test. Just consider the "Discover Canada" official book and ready it properly multiple times.

During the interview, the officer will verify your originals like pr card, passports, landing document, two pieces of ID and will match the stamps on the passport with the online residence calculator sheet. He may request to see the other original documents whose copies were submitted during the initial application. He will also check your english/french language abilities during the conversation and some general questions.

The battle is finally over. I wrote my Citizenship Test yesterday and passed.
Then went through the interview with an immigration officer after the test.
To God be the glory, I came out with a flying color.
So in the next few weeks I will become a full fledged Canadian Citizen by God's grace.
