Also If you could let me know what document did you carry with you for upfront Medical would be helpful?

You ought to have done it the other way my friend ......... but then, go do upfront meds now.

In my case, nothing got requested, all was upfront

Yeah for sure bud, i will let you know as soon as i have an update, btw if you have not been requested medicals, that indicates some issue, try to talk to them and find out.

My GCMS notes say 1st VO wasnt convinced that i worked as Executive Assistant and not enough 1 yr experience which i think he made a mistake.I sent in an updated employement letter a while back but nothing yet. Soo worry! :-[

Hi,

Did any one send your copr back to ottawa for correction? I had to send it back for correcting my marital status. How long does it take to get the new copr? Please note that I had contacted cic about the error in copr and they replied me advising sending my copr back to them. They also gave a urgent code to quote while sending my copr. I have a planned vacation in july. I am really worried about how long it may take to get the new one. Any one having the same experience, please share your case. Thank you very much for you time.

Phone cic ask them to contact the visa officer. That's what they told me to do once I hit 13 months in a few weeks.

and 13 months mean the application received date or the AOR date???

Hi, after a long wait of 13 months I got my MR on Jun6th. I had filed my application on May-02-2014
However, I have been diagnosed as a Diabetic just last week and I am now concerned whether that will affect my approval

Please add me to the list.
I filed my application on May-02-2014 :-[
AOR was received on Jun 12, 2014. I still haven't received medical request. The last update is from November2014 requiring secondary officer review.
I contacted CIC last week over email and they got back saying processing time is 15 months !!!

It's 13months from the day they receive it. So on the Ecas it says the date they received the file. 13 months from then.

When that date is reached call cic (be extremely polite- they're more helpful if you are). Explain to them that the processing time has passed and if they can find out what's happening. They told me that after 13 months they will message the VO to find out why it's exceeded the limit. I don't know what happ na after that however.

Cong rates. Can you please share what was the reason of second review ?
My application was also went for second review and received by CIC on 5-May-2015

There are few threads in this forum on Diabetic topic, you can check those threads and do some research before going for medical test.
May I know the reason for second review and did you submitted any doc's or explanation letter to CIC to clear your review.

Hi guys,

MR received today after the looooooooong wait..

File sent: 12 May 2014
AOR received: 23 June 2014
MR Received: 09 June 2015

I tried to stay away from the forum for the past few weeks as I am stressed out by the other applicants who are receiving updates and it feels like CIC abandoned me for no reason.

My file was sent for second review as well and I find nothing wrong on the GCMS notes that I have requested. Yes, my 6th GCMS notes is coming couple of weeks from now.

For those who are still waiting, hang in there (yes, hang tight, very tight) and keep yourself occupied with other things. Stay outside and enjoy the fantastic weather.
