If you go to a Dr who does e-Med then no docs required apart from ID, but do take your PP.

The Dr will take a pretty pic of you and your family

I just called CIC and according to them they are doing security checks. I am not sure if they are passing this common statement to every one who is asking for the status.

Wow, congrats mate! My timeline is similar as yours, wish I can receive my PPR soon. Another question is did you get any other inquiry from CIC after your ME request? i.e. RPRF request or request for additional docs?

I paid RPRF upfront .there was not any other inquiry or request after MR.
It takes 4 - 5 months to review your application after they receive the medical.
Paying RPRF upfront save you 2 weeks. If you have the third line on ecase that means
Criminality and security completed and just wait for the ppr.
Hope you will receive ppr soon .
I guess this week may applicants will start receiving ppr .

Hi! Everyone

I submitted my application on May 20 -2014 and there is nothing I received except the File number. I called CIC and they said the processing time counts since the application number was sent to the client, not since the application was received. I was not quite satisfied with this answer. Does anyone have had the the same experience/answer? If this is true, what they said, then I have to stay quite until July as the application number was sent in july.

Guys- Any update from CIC?

Just spoke to cic. They've received my upfront medicals and its on the system My file is due to go through security etc checks by may 31st. I have to call them back at 13 months so that they can email vo and get a status update.
