The application status in process since application received

I'm just wondering how long it takes to receive PPR after the third line

hello guys,

just called CIC and spoke to the agent, he says my application is waiting on background check and everything else is clear. Any idea how this background check is done and how long it generally takes?

call this number 16139444000 and use options to navigate (11113) i called at 9:30 AM EST and got through in 15 min wait time and the agent was a nice guy who was patient enough to answer my questions.

Called the other day also and got the same answer that my background check was being done. Not sure how long it takes but I also did my upfront payment to see if speeds up the process.

Same here. I finally got my second set of GCMS notes, no update on them .

12 months + and counting.

Friends on the May thread ............ the 80% of applications processed duration has creeped up to 13 months suggesting this drift is a sign of the current figures well above 13 months as I had suspected

I have just called the CIC and the wait time was just 10 mins. However, they have told me to call in July as the processing time is now changed to 18 months .

true guys, checked online and its now bumped to 13 months again from 12. Happy waiting :'( :'(
