Yes, My file has been stuck in a inquiry as the format of job roles and responsibilities are not in correct format written by some senior of your company . And file is put on hold by the time enquiry get clear ..

hi guys... any idea that it takes longer for the applications having dependents and dependents are staying back home...
in my case i have 2 dependents wife + kid and they are back home...

not sure if thats the case... :-\

12 months for me to this day.

I called them this morning and they said they are still processing background checks. I asked if there is anything I can do to help speed this up, the reply was 'no'.

I mentioned my wife and kids visa's expires in August, they said I can get this extended.

This waiting is really killing me.

Same here.. Mine is on 14th may

I called VO officer today and they did.nt give me the exact reason for my PR application ( Waiting for medical). Did you ask any specific question since they told you about processing of background checks?

They just told me, that's all really. Have you asked for your GCMS notes?

Seniors, Need advice.

I called CIC guys and according to them they started working on my application.

Could you please what does this mean? I have not received any medical yet.

When this happens one hears of a request for passport very soon

i did my medicals in the first week of feb 2015, did not hear back from CIC after that. Paid upfront RPRF yesterday. Is there any chances of rejection after medicals (assuming medicals results were fine).. ? please advice.

medicals requested - Feb 4th 2015
meds sent - feb 14th 2015.
Got confirmation from CIC via e mail that meds were received.

Any recommendation coz I am perplexed:
I will do landing on border from Regway, Sk. My question is that: what is the process; I mean where to go before going to the US borders? And If you do not have entry visa to US, there will be a problem or What?!

guys not sure whats going on. my application was received on 2nd May'14. more than a year now, still same status "application received".
