It's interesting that my payment (draft) posted date is June 2 and yet I received the AOR yesterday whereas this other person's payment posted (CC) date is May 28th and yet he received AOR today.

So perhaps payment charge is not an accurate indicator of AOR arrival. Though it would mean that they are not going to send the application back as incomplete so that is definitely a huge relief.

Every time i call my bank to check draft status, they say.." It looks like..........(i am like, its something new this time)....its still outstanding."
I hope everybody is right. May be next week. 7 days are gonna go like 7 years for me. i am more , because this is the 2nd time i sent application. hope it goes well. good luck to all great people applied in May.

I want to update all indian future applicants that my application set was returned because they would not accept passport copies towards DOB certificates for me and my spouse. So, i had to get an affidavit notarised and sent it again last week which has been received yesterday. They have checked and found no other discrepancy earlier - so, hopeful for a quicker process now, but not sure.

Can you please share your timeline? When was it received by CIO and when did they return it to you?

I sent my passport copies without notarization too.
But I did get my DOB certificates translated and notarized.

I think he means he sent Passport copies as DOB proof and not the birth certificate.

can you clarify to understand above statement, do you have birth certificates or not?

I think he means he sent Passport copies as DOB proof and not the birth certificate.

I agree, that is the only sense I can make out of it! Phewww I am ok in that case! But why would you send passport copies instead of DOB certificate?

Because he thought the DOB on the passport will work as a DOB proof
