Congratulations to all got PPR or CORP in the last week!


I'm still waiting for PFPR, Ottawa give me 45 more days to give them PCC, I already did the paperwork is just a matter of Canadian embassy in Mexico submit my results!! Waiting and praying guys! This waiting time is making me to be stress out!!

Please update the sheet for me. I received PPR on April 8, Decision made on April 9. Passport received by cic on April 10

Got AOR in first week of June 2014
Done medicals on 1st week of Dec 2014 and same has been showing in ECAS
extra line added to ECAS 'We started processing your application on March 12, 2015.' On the same day additional documents request received for PCC and schedule A even then I included when I sent the application. Its been already 1 month since they requested additional docs but not hearing anything from CIC till now. My GCMS says
Eligibility: Recommend Passed
Criminality : In progess
Security : Not started
Medical: Passed.
RPRF : Paid

I dont know why it is getting late to get PPR

Can anyone help please? I applied in may and still have not received a medical request. I waited a while to see if CIC will contact me for any missing information or for a clarification but did not hear anything. I applied for my GCMS notes, and I saw that the officer had left a note saying that my letter of employment did not state my duties. I have contacted my company and had them send me the proper letter. My question is do I wait for CIC to contact me first before sending in this information. I called the toll free number to ask this question. the person said I will need to wait to be asked first before i can send it in. My work pemit is ending soon, no one is contacting me and so I am getting worried.
Please if you have been in the same situation or you have an idea Let me know!

I assume your application was assigned for second review. And seems they still did not reach to your file. you must have notes in the GCMS due date for 2nd review, however processing is going slow. they are other people in the same situation, i guess after second review we can understand if we pass the eligibility or not.

Send it in!! My first application was refused for the same thing! If the same happens to you you'd have to go through express entry.

And following the forms , i have impression that you can send the letter so when they start processing your file for second review they will consider this letter.
SO just send it to them.

I agree. Just send new letter as soon as possible with cover letter. Dont wait them to ask more documents. They might not ask more docs and decide on your application.

NO duties listed in the Letter of Employment A T4 from 2012 show reported earnings of 68.3k. A NOA from 2012 show reported earnings of $71.2k. A T4 from 2013 reported earnings of $121.6k. web based search conducted – Online information verified..
Additional Notes: Letter of employment does NOT provide information regarding applicants duties and functions within the company supporting documents appear insufficient to determine whether applicant meets declared NOC. For Officer Review.
RECOMMENDATION: REVIEW REQUIRED BY OFFICER

the note is long but i tried to cut it short and also bolded the areas where the problems where listed. my Police certificate i will soon get, my letter of employment has been corrected. I also want to write a letter explaining that i worked at the mall for 2 months, this is why my NOA is showing 71.2k and my T4 is showing 68.3k. the second year, i got transfered by my company so i was given allowance that doubled my salary. My originial letter stated i earn 60k plus benefits but it seems like i have to go into it in details. I also have documents that break down my earnings and show my salary as only 60k. where do i send this additional document to? same place i sent the original application?

My advice (I am not an expert) is that you should send the documents if you already have and not wait for CIC to ask...as I think that once it gets added to your file and when 2nd officer will review he will notice that you have provided the explanation and all is good...else he will revuiew and ask for explanation and then you will provide and then he will review again....which I feel will take couple of weeks...so to save that time..mysuggestion would be to send the docs and make sure that you explanation note answers all the concerns that you see in your notes....

I totally agree. In fact, I would suggest that you scan and email them the document and note in the document that you are mailing the actual physical document as well. Just to be sure. They clearly ask for the letter of employment with listed duties. If your letter is missing the duties, then they may very well assume that you are NOT ABLE to get a more detailed letter from the employer. So they may very well NOT contact you for additional clarification and may just deny your application. I would say scan and email the document as soon as possible and then mail it express to them. Please include a note (in your email and with the physical document) stating that you are including a more detailed letter of employment as your previous one was missing the job specifics. Also mention in email that you are also mailing the physical document and it should get to them in a couple of days.
