Go to CIC website or call VFS ask them about your status. Its too much of delay.

I submitted it online so vfs has nothing to say ... and now don't know what to do except waiting

Do not worry if it's still within the average processing time of your visa office. Although it's really annoying that they do not give any signs wether they started processing the application or not.
