Hope nga magrelease na naman sila ulit ng visas. they tend to release more at the start of the month. Keep positive! It'll come. ;D

HI GUYS!

i am from Cebu,Philippines.. married to a Canadian citizen last January 2013 and submitted our app to cic-m last may 9, 2013, got SA June 3,2013 and now waiting for stage 2 (PPR) of this very long visa journey...

to those Filipino spouses of Canadian citizens/PR let's share in this thread, habang malayo pa naman hihintayin natin dito muna tayo sa forum mag tambay at mag update ng mga status ng bawat isa sa atin.. hehe Smiley

I'm also from Cebu, my husband and i got married last May 8, 2013 our application was received by the CIC last Oct 3, 2013 still waiting pa din of when maabot ang gipaabot nga visa ky daw until now wa pa man gihapon...where in Canada ka man bound? i will be going to Alberta. hope nga madawat na nato ang ato visa...good luck to all of us!

Nag ppr kana ba? I'm here na sa Canada last April 3 mi naabot sa akong anak. Alberta din kami. Fort saskatchewan 20min to Edmonton

Does anybody know how long processing for VISA is from the day it is IN-PROCESS in ECAS? I'm still waiting too. It's almost 2 mos now since nag IN-PROCESS kami ulit. TT__TT

Sheesh...looking at your time line...they messed up and NOW they make you wait more! Id involve my MP or at the very least start shaking the tree! Have you made any attempt to contact them? You can make a case specific inquiry here..give them a week after you make the request for info..or involve your MP?

I did that so many times na. We tried to contact pero wala wala pa rin talagang return calls/emails/anything. I'll get help from the MP if wala pa rin changes this week. :-[

When they IGNORED my request for information...thats what got my blood boiling...and I got MP's PLURAL involved! Started writing letters and the fourth MP I contacted got things done...I worked with MY MP for a few weeks and it became apparent that they didnt know what they were doing...once they accepted my request for help..it took two weeks until the visa was issued..especially if its theyre error that causes you to wait MORE! Sheesh...what a nasty process!
