hi guys. Just wanted to share my stories with you all. My husband and I got married last year ng Sept 2012. Nakapagfile kmi this year ng May. Halos lahat kau january kinasal no? Sana mabilos lang ntn mksama ang mga hubby ntn. Hehe. Hirap ng mgkalayo plus the fact na nghihintay tau pero xmpre pray ang pinaka weapon natin. Godbless us all may applicants!

can I join here bro ikono523..did u submit your legal capacity to contract marriage to the cpc? my husband got that STATUTORY DECLARATION.. is that the same to the legal capacity to contract marriage?.. here is the content of that statutory that my husband got from canadian embassy, please have time to read it, I just want to find out if it is the same as yours, thanks in advance......STATUTORY DECLARATION

MR/ MRS/MS____________________ has applied to the embassy of Canada for a certificate to the effect that she /he is free to marry ,and that according to the Canadian authorities, there exists no impediment to such marriage. Canadian law neither requires nor provides for the issuance of such certificates. Therefore, the embassy is not in a position to issue the required certificate. This Statutory Declaration is given in the event that it may be of relevance should the authorities of the Philippines be prepared to consider a waiver of the production of the requested certificate..

helo po kuya...yup we did the same thing po..my concern now is do you need to change your status from single to married? kasi my husband tried to change his status in his med insurance but hindi daw pwede pg andun nlng daw po ako..but thank you po.. sna mapabilis na application namin ng wife nyo...at mkasma nyo na sya ganun din ako sa husband ko...

yes, you have to be present in the country in order for your husband to change his marital status in any (insurance, investments, etc etc)

where in Cebu is your wife from ikon? i am from Cebu too..

oh yeah we have like 3 kgs of proofs plus the forms.. i sent it to my husband thru LBC and paid 5,100php ???

just in Mactan...with regards to proof.. I was gonna send everything but decided to just have excerpts of our conversation monthly that shows we talk and call each other every day.. pictures, receipts of our tiny civil wedding and reception, and many trip that we took together.

hala ang mahal pala sis no??? mga ilang weeks bago nakuha ng hubby mo? san ka sa cebu?? malaki rin pala natipid ko. umuwi kasi pinsan ko kaya pinahand carry ko na. kinuha nalang ng husband ko sa bahay nila 1 hour and 30 minutes drive lang naman

super mahal nga sis! after 3 working days na received na din ng hubby ko... sa Minglanilla,Cebu ko sis, ikaw? buti kapa noh nka save, malaki-laki talaga gastos nag pag gagather ng docs hanggang sa pag send sa sponsor.. pero ganyan talaga eh worth it naman sa bandang huli

oi ok na un kahit mahal at least ang bilis dumating dun. ung iba nga umaabot ng more than 2 weeks. sa cebu ako ng college then i usually spend weekends sa san fernando sa mga cousins ko

not sure pa if approve naba talga un. basta tumawag ung courier pick up ko na daw passport ko.. pero sana approve na nga un. sabi sa letter na "decision has been made and we need your original passport to finalize the process". i want to believe na may visa na nga un. malalaman natin mamaya

inemphasize ko lang na may ongoing PR application kami that i will go home within the allowed timeframe or when the embassy requested for my passport and that we wont do anything to jeopardize the result of our PR since we are looking forward in spending time together in the future.

tapos sis ung sa letter of invitation ni husband, nakastate na rin dun na siya magcocover ng expenses ko while im there. so i have to include his latest notice of assessment and his t4. gumawa na rin ako ng cover letter stating my intentions on why i want to visit then naka bullet form dun ung mga reasons why i have to come here after the visa expires.
