Hey guys, I

have an ecase, I mean when I put in my info to access my profile I get an auto message says "we are not able to identify you".

The agent mentioned that by Oct 4 there has to be an update on my file whether my application was processed, returned or lost!!!

This information is copied (and slightly expanded) from another thread. This was obtained via a request by another applicant. It shows the process that the application undergoes. It also shows the criteria that will likely trigger an RQ and which part of the process is done where (Sydney versus local office).

My application was received by "Mike Y" on May 27, anyone their application was received by the same person? Not that it matters but at least I would know that it got to the right place and wasn't lost!

My application was received exactly by the same person. i initially thought my application file was lost or returned thought i never got back application. finally, after calling several times over a month, my file was put in process.

How's calling CIC going to speed up my process? I thought CIC agents can't speed up process or make decisions!

You are right in saying that they cant speed up process but at least they can look for your application package since it's already too long (4 months). that's what u can do right now otherwise you have to resend your application. In my case, i wasn't sure what's was wrong (for example, do i need to supply language proof such as IELTS result since i attached my diploma as a proof).

Last week i called to CIC to inquire about my AOR since i havent got it. the answer i got from agent they already sent it. the same day i got an e mail virtually saying the same with a link of study guide. Not sure what to understand?

You will call and bug CIC to achieve your goal which is to start your process asap. Since most of our applications are already
in process, now it is important to know why yours wasn't. Once the process begins successfully without an incomplete application, it will flow in its own pace.

Don't worry the email confirmed that they received your completed application otherwise CIC wont issue the booklet. Relax . Now, I wish all the applicants goodluck, fast track and stress free

The more you call CIC, the more the system notify your file enquiry. This might make someone in the department to check what going on, why this many calls. I am a computer engineer and I know when an agent make a search about any applicant it will reflect. The systems are usually design to keep track of agents searchable enquiries when you provide client ID. That's how they know who is who.
