Seems like a visa officer with an alphabetical and numbered code name has been assigned to my file. I just received my GCMS notes. I am hoping it won't take long now since I have an officer assigned. But my due date says my application is due till June...jeez. I know people have received their PPR's much before their due dates. Any thoughts ?

Whoops I guess not, I don't think a visa officer has been assigned to my case. There are places on my GCMS notes where visa officer has been assigned, and then there are places where its blank. Hmmmm...can't really tell whats on the go.

Ok, so what I understand from these GCMS notes is that an officer was assigned to determine my eligibility, medical and criminality and that is through, but no officer has been assigned for Security. I believe they have an officer assigned for security as well. Anyone else received their GCMS notes this month or the previous month ?

You may want to look on or around pg#2 of your notes, under section "APPLICATION ASSIGNMENT", to see any details next to 'assigned to' or '...... by' or 'due date' - this is the information that 'could' tell you your tentative date of completion - the other due date are relevant to respective assessment - and i think you dont see any thing under 'security', as its classified information !!
