This is great cause honestly it wan't a good experience at all. But I feel a little better now since it could help prevent people from doing the same mistake!

Thanks for sharing :)

If this is the case, what about PRs who land from International Flights? Will they be sent back again?

Oh no kprs_ind I think you shouldn't worry about that. I live in Ottawa so when they sent me back it meant I went home, they just didn't sign the paper and process me so i have to go to the boarder again. I think in worst case scenario, if you don't have all the of the need document's at the airport, they'll let you in (since you have a visa) and ask you to provide what's needed before they finish your landing process.
Hope this helps, good luck.

Not at all!!!!
If you don't have a job, you can't have the proof of employment. If you currently
live outside Canada, you can't have proof of address from within Canada. Don't worry about
being sent back!

Hi guys,

Just a quick update, I went back to Prescott Bridge again today with all of the requested documents, and everything went well :)

Good luck to you all

Thanks Toby. But I should provide a Canadian address for PR card. What should I do here? Should I arrange for a temporary address when I land?

Do you have friends in Canada? Like when you land in Canada, you gotta stay somewhere, right?

Today checked status on ecas, it says "Complete"

Under the link,

1.We received your application for permanent residence on May 6, 2013.

2.We started processing your application on January 21, 2014.

3.Medical results have been received.

4.A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

5.You entered Canada at the Niagara Falls Rainbow Bridge office on March 29, 2014 and became a Permanent Resident.

I wish everyone would get the 5th item on their ecas status soon...!

I am not sure where I gonna land now. I will go to the place where I get the opportunity. So not sure right now. Can I give the address of my friend in Toronto though I land elsewhere in Canada?

The wait is really difficult..I paid RPRF and did medicals on 28th Feb still no updates in ECAS . I did add my spouse in January 2014 and was requested to submit additional documents to prove my marriage .No updated after I had submitted the documents .Hope i get something very soon since this is quite painful to wait :(

I had to wait too. Look at the positive side, although you had to add a new dependant on January, you still got the MR and RPRF a month after. Now, in your case it's been like a month since you paid RPRF, and that is still within the average. I personally had to wait more than a month but at least I got it at the end.

I know the wait is a killer, but you should feel better knowing you're getting it no matter how long you wait, and it shouldn't be that long.

Finally got PPR!! eCas updated to Decision Made! :D
