i am in the same bus, waiting for PPR, doctor has advised they forwarded the medicals on 11th and status is shown as in process,

i am checking the mail box and ecas staus 12 times in a day. Looks like patience is a virtue while dealing with CIC

Hello friends,

I have landed yesterday. Through peace bridge, Took a U-turn right before the bridge, went to the both, gave my passport, sent me to the immigration and the whole process took 10 mins.

Timeline:
Application received: May10th 2013
AOR 26th June 1013
MR: 28th Jan 2014
MR Done: Feb 3rd 2014
RPRF: Feb 3rd 2014
PPR: Feb 11th
PP sent: Feb 12th
PP back: Feb 19th
Landed: Feb 20th

Finally! The waiting is over.

Hey Guys!

Just wondering, if I reapply through CEC again, can I apply for an extension for the Bridging work permit?

My bridging expires in August. I still have some time to reapply, but I want to make sure all my options are on the table.

I applied earlier in May with this batch, just got refused. I have my lawyers asking the case officer to reconsider, but its a tight rope, seeing that in many cases they don't reopen applications again.

Sorry, what I meant was that how long will this VISA office change process will take ? I am just worried that it should not delay the processing unnecessarily.

Hi, I am in same situation now. I had sent them email three days back but didn't heard anything back.

I think we should wait at least a week before contacting them again for visa stamping at local visa office. I send an email to them 2 days ago for visa stamping at local visa office, still waiting for their response. I will contact them again if I don't get any reply by next week.

Just got ECAS status changed to decision made.
