Congrats to everyone received their PPR!

I'm getting worried right now. Although CIC received my PCC and Medicals, I haven't received PPR until now. I was hoping for an 11:00PM email. My ecas is still showing "In Process" and I guess it doesn't have to show "Decision Made" to get the PPR based on some of your feedbacks.

You are still within the time limit. According to my lawyer it can take up to one month to receive PPR after medical status update

A quick question. When PP request is received, will it be okay to send the passport for all members except 1 ( who is in home country and is planning to come to Canada in early April? I do not want to leave him stranded without PP when it is time for travel and I intend to submit it when he comes here). Will CIC wait for all PPs to be submitted or can they do it like above. Anyone with such experience, please help..

It is 60 days. Read the following line in the mail.

The requested information/documents must be received in our office within 60 days from the date of this letter. Failure to do so could result in the refusal of your application.

Thanks anni_in

iKhalid, I'm on the same boat as you are except that I sent updated reference letter and still waiting for RPRF/BIO and PPR. Can you please share your timeline (when you sent the PCC and Medicals?). Does it show in ECAS that CIC received your PCC?

Finally received the good news.

I have received a passport request mail from CIC on 18-Feb-14 at 10.22 pm. I will be submitting passports tomorrow. Hopefully I will get my PR status in this month only. All the best for all other applicants.

Hey anni_in,

May I ask from which email address did you get your PPR email? and what is the subject?

Cheers,
Ferna

For the medicals, I had my exam on 04-02-2014 and then I called my dr a week after and he told me everything was sent, I then noticed the acknowledgement on ecas on 14-02-2014.

For the PCC, I sent them via Canada post and according to the tracking, they were received on 14-02-2014. I contacted CIC by email and received an acknowledgement on 17-02-2014 that my PCC was received. I believe they don't update ecas when they get the PCC.

In addition to anni_in's point, submit your Notice of Assessment along with T4.

Here is some information on CEC: http://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/SOR-2002-227/page-39.html
This has more information on which experience is considered, might help you.

The notice of assessment for 2013? We still don't have it.

iKhalid, Thanks for sharing the timeline. Can you please tell me to which email you sent a request to confirm that your PCC was recieved? I would like to confirm that letter has been added to my file.

I replied to the PCC request email. I noticed something weird though, I got the auto-response from CPC-CTD-Ottawa NOT from OttPilot-Immigration. The reply that I got later was also from CPC-CTD-Ottawa. Maybe because the subject line had my application number E000xxxxxx in it?!

CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca is the new email address for CPC-Ottawa. The Ottpilot address is not valid anymore.

Good Day!

I m a May 2013 applicant too... Hope and pray that we can got our PR soon.. I am a single applicant. :)

Clarification needed please:

I was asked to provide updated reference letter from my employer and my lawyer emailed the letter to CIC.

I am little confused whether I can email to CPC-CTD-Ottawa @ cic.gc.ca and ask them whether they updated the letter to my case file. Seniors please tell me whether this will create any confusion?

This is the email I drafted:

Dear Officer,

Requesting you to please confirm whether the "Updated Employment Letter" emailed by my lawyer to CIC has been received and updated to my Permanent Residence case file. I am the Primary applicant and My details are as follows.
