Hello All,

Got my address and VISA office updated. I also got an email regarding stamping in India. Thanks.

Hello GETPR

Congrats !!!

Quick Question -

1) How many days did it took for them to change your visa office (i.e confirmation that you can get your passports stampped in India) after you sending the email for office change?

2) What documents did you submitted to VFS to get this stampping done?

3) How many days did VFS too to get your passports stampped and give it back to you?

Hi, I don't see its part of regular Email for passport request. Under which section do you see this. I have seen one of my colleagues passport request email, its not there.

Yes, you are right. Its not part of the regular mail which I got but its mentioned in this new email for VISa stamping in India. I feel its just a different format.

Passport and document submission:

Passports should be submitted through VFS [www.vfs-canada.co.in] using one of the 10 Visa Application centres located across India and in Nepal. Provided the application and travel documents are in order, passports submitted through VFS will be returned within 20 working days. Important: We are not able to return passports by mail/courier to Nepal, please send your passport through VFS.

Please note that a request for your passport(s) at this time is not a guarantee of visa issuance. Passports are requested so that we can hold them on your file and issue your visas as soon as possible after all requirements have been met. If additional information is required, you will be contacted.

You must inform our office of any change in your mailing address, a change in your marital and/or family status of yourself or your dependents, or other information relevant to your application. Due to our operational constraints we will not acknowledge receipt of the new information, but it will be noted on your file. You may also visit our websites: www.cic.gc.ca or www.india.gc.ca for more information on the processing of your application. You have 60 days to provide the above documents, or to write to us explaining why you cannot comply within that timeframe. If you do not respond within 60 days from the date of this letter, a decision on your application will be taken based on the documents and information currently on file; this will likely result in the refusal of your application for permanent residence. For regular updates on New Delhi’s processing times, please visit our website: www.cic.gc.ca. In the meantime, we suggest that you not make any commitments related to the application until your case has been concluded. Any steps that you take now e.g. disposing of property or effects, or giving up employment or accommodation or taking other commitments concerning your proposed migration or visit to Canada will be at your own risk.Sincerely,

No more forms, just print out PPR email and submit with passport and photos. Another question, any specifications for the photos? If yes, do you mind sharing it or the link. Much appreciated.

Guys, you can create your own passport size photo online for free! You only need to upload your picture to the below side and it will convert into required format. You can then take download the same and print at Walmart or any other Kiosk at cheap price.

Are you an In Canada applicant?? I don't think you would be requested to submit photos with passport. I believe you have to submit photos if you're submitting passport to office outside Canada.

same is the ECAS status for me. It shows as in process , however points 3 states medical received. I suppose the status has changed either yesterday or today
