Did you take the sample from the mid stream? Anyways, this is how it should be done.

Dear Applicant,

Our current files indicate that your latest address is in xxxxxxx. Please send us an up-to-date address with the request for the Visa Office change.
CIC has my India address updated with them and while submitting the documents had selected India for Visa processing. So does that mean i will be asked to get the stamping done from India.

3. Medical results have been received.

Finally!

The PCCs were received on Tuesday; should I email them and ask about the status? How long does it take them normally to update a file upon receiving new documents?

My situation is bit complex. I am in Canada, while my family is in India. So don't know if passports can be separtely stamped from different Visa offices

As far as I know its not possible, you need to get it stamped from the same VISA office but I can be wrong here.

Just got updated to "decision made" this morning. at least this provides a good timeline for people as the call we got from cec canada was on feb 11 saying they were processing our documents and the status didn't change for around 3 days to decision made. no sign of the ppr request email though as of yet!

if ur status is in process u should be fine.. and will get MR soon.. first time i applied. They refused my application so statis changed from received to decision made directly. But if it changes to in process .. u should be fine and this is so reassuring ;)

Good luck

Maza

Finally got to know today that CIC has already sent out MR on Jan 29 itself. It was sitting in my attorney's Junk email. I followed up with him twice in these 2 weeks and everytime he confirmed there hasn't been any intimation. Feeling so frustrated now that I am paying for nothing to such an irresponsible person. Lost 2.5 weeks unnecessarily. Now will have to rush through all the medicals !!!

Don't worry everything will be fine. You should at least be happy that he did not delete his junk emails.

I have the same opinion. Let's wait & watch.

Need help,

my case is that my wife and I have received the medical request on Feb 1st, 2014 as well as my wife is currently pregnant and the due date on May 11, 2014. However, my wife had undergone a medical examination for her open work permit extension application which is now still within one year. I have talked to my agent about the whole story to ask her writing an email to CIC see if new Medical can be exempted by using the previous one. But, CIC replied back today that my wife still needs to complete whole medical examination after she gives birth to child. it will be a big delay. I just want to know does anyone have the same situation with mine since I have heard that some people with the same situation had got medical exempted when they contacted to CIC. How come it does not work to me ??

Why don't you have her do the medical exam again? Because of the x-ray? My wife is pregnant and she did it. We did our own research and we thought it is not dangerous. They should be able to shield her and make sure the baby gets the least amount of radiations... Besides, today's x-ray machines are using a small amount of rad.
