MAY 2013 APPLICATION

Hi Guys, now many of us are through the medicals and waiting for PPR and the eventual landing, it seems we are almost there but can not be sure.....just pray and patient , we are masters at that..

as we have crossed halfway mark, a lil bit more i would say, i thought of just checking whats my damage ( invesment , if you want that way) in the process and here is the break up till now as i kept a track of these :

IELTS Photos, transport 323.00
Police verification 75.00 (they saved from RCMP fees)
Affidavits 55.00
Photos 105.00
Canada post/covers 30.00
Processing fee for 3 1250.00 (1100 me and spouse+150child)
Photos MR 50.00 ( dr assistant advised to get photos , thugh they are not neeed)
Medicals 720.00 - incl Transport, and a messed up blood test repeated!!!
RPRF 980.00 for two , kid exempted - TG for small mercies

Misc 80.00 lost track here

approx 3600 bucks , and budgeting another 700 bucks more to cover PPR related expenses and landing .

Any idea how much to pay for gettong PR Card pax ( too optimistic!!! life is )

The process may not appear to be an expensive one for many, sure it pinches and puts your budgets off the track in the present and have to cut corners on many expenses. WE live paycheck to paycheck here , sacrifices not counted---March break programme for kid is put on hold for this year.

let this be over soon GOD, and give me the strength and courage to go through this gracefully.

This too will pass, and there the rainbow i can see.

Reading through many travails on this forum thought of sharing mine , which has been a silent one all through.....

bye and enjoy your time

;D ;D Hopefully you will be doing for your kids future something better than March break holiday.... i feel your suffering...

Good Luck ..

What Maza said is true, you're giving your kids a better future.. We're all going through this and I paid WAY more than you did as I did my finger prints twice for the PCC (because the first set didn't work with the embassy!) + notarization twice ~= $400 + shipping back and forth ~ $150, in addition to the fact that my medical exams were more expensive than yours... I really didn't want to count the total so I don't feel bad. Luckily we're not paying for everything at once! And to me, it worths every single penny!
