All applications have a weakness point.. like in mine half of my pay was from outside Canada and so did not appear on T4.. so i spent 262 days thinking that once they see the discripency.. they will throw it away and refuse or send for review.. and that's why i hired a lawyer.. but found that even having a lawyer won't change facts or decrease the worry and fear that one have.. but.. in the end.. they accept most of the applications even if there was rhere one small thing out of order..

So hopefully u will do well.. but even these words won't calm you down.. the only thing that help is seeing an email for MR in you email inbox

Thank you.. the wait is over and the stress is less.. Booked my medical on the 5th of February. I will pay 160+ 55 for the chest xray for me and my wife. And 130 dollar for each of my kids. We are four that mran 215+215+130+130 total 690 dollar for the four of us.. and it is e medical so that would save me the cost of the 4 photos for each peraon too.. i saw someone posting it is 500 per person which is extremley expensive.. be careful with your money my friends. I will go ahead and pay RPRF too. Hopefully i would be able to Land in February. Thank you all. I love this forum and how people help each other..

Wow I wish our medicals were this cheap. I am in Adelaide, Australia and only have one option for medicals which looks like $498pp x 2 plus i'm guessing a little less for our 13month old. (have to call them on Monday). They sure know how to take your money but like you said worth it...

I think you should go for $498 as it includes the X-ray and pathology test. If you look at the first page of the medical request form, it clearly says"When you schedule your appointment, please ensure that arrangements are made for your chest x-ray and laboratory tests as well." None of the other three option includes both X-ray and pathology/laboratory test along with general medical check.

When I contacted Medibank in Brisbane they asked me to book $498 option.

I am doing mine for 160 + 55 dollar for x-ray for me and same for my wife. For my kids it is 130 and there is no xray or any other test. Be careful and do not waste your money or give it easily for theae greedy docs

Thanks for the uplifting words maza. Yea you're absolutely right about seeing an email from CIC requesting Medical. Anyways I did order my GCMS notes which I should receive by the last days of Feb. So if no requests from CIC by then, hoping to get some answers from the notes. I'm doing okay btw, no frustration as yet...in 3 weeks time then I will start to worry a bit

It's so expensive but I guess that's what you have to do

Completed medicals for me and my wife at Calgary on 30th January. Can you please update my information on May 2013 CEC spreadsheet?
Was charged 250$ each as doctor's consultation fees, 60$ each for X-rays and 32$ each for blood samples at Calgary labs. Hope to get biodata and RPRF fees request soon. Also, my ecas status changed to 'in process' on 29 Jan.
Another thing, my information is added twice on May 2103 spreadsheet, as 'Puru' and 'Purshotam'. Can you please delete one of the entries?

Thanks, Arnaud for restoring the spreadsheet. The spreadsheet is now locked and can be viewed only. I would request all the May 2013 applicants to update your timeline in the May2013 thread and I will update them daily on the spreadsheet.

This will make sure the spreadsheet will not screwed up again.
