How is AOR received? Email or mail?

I got it by email

Mine was charged June 17 and still no AOR yet and no info in ECAS. Well just have to wait then. Please post as soon as you get them. Thanks

Application was recieved on May 9, 2013.
My credit card was charged on June 20
AOR email recieved on June 26

Once the file is transferred to the Visa Processing Office, does anyone contact us? What happens next apart from the long waiting ?

I think Depends on what you mode of communication you choose mail/email....My friend received by email....

I received my AOR yesterday on June 26,2013 but I can't find any status from "Check your Application Status" on CIC website. Is this normal? Anyone having the same issue here?

Don't worry, they call in very rare cases. & you are going to hear anything from them other than AOR for atleast another 6-7 months.
if they want to call they will do after 6-7 months, but just 2% chances.

I have posted my CEC application for PR from Vancouver to Sydney office in Canada on 12th May 2013. As per the Canada post online tracking system, my application was received on 16th may by the office.

I am still waiting for AOR. Any idea when will get it?

Hurrray! AOR received today!
Application received May 13th
Credit cards charged : May 25th
AOR mail received : May 28th

Off to sleep for 6-7 months without worrying about the application.. .
