Yes. My first CEC application received in May 2013 was rejected back in September 2013 due Language test scores. I took the test again and resubmitted in September 2013.

Hi, I got an email from CIC asking for Employer letter. Looks like they need it within 60 days. The problem is my employer doesn't support this and wont give me a letter. Is there any alternative ? Seniors please help.

Yes that's correct. This was before the new rules got implemented. They were not required to open the test score and check if scores are above or below the passing marks.

Wrong assumptions...When I realized that I needed CLB 7 on all categories, I emailed CIC in August to withdraw my application. They did in September. Meanwhile, I was preparing another application. By the way, I found out here the new CLB requirements ( I know this have visited CIC website). Before I sent my first application in may 2013, my company immigration consultant told me that my celpip results (I had CLB > 7 except for speaking CLB 6) were ok for NOC A. Obviously she was not aware about the new language requirements implemented in January 2013.

Didnt u supplied the letter when u applied ? if yes why they asked for another letter

did you provide employer reference letter, T4, NOA, pay stubs, employment contracts, etc. with your initial submission? It is strange that they are asking for reference letter after issuing MR for you.

Did you receive RPRF and Biodata yet?

Write a mail to your employer clearly stating that you require a letter for your PR. Also mention your NOC code roles and responsibilities, when you joined the organization, your total Canada experience in your mail. Let them respond that they can not provide you the letter and submit their response along with your original mail to CIC. I know a similar case and the person did the same and he got his PR. Since Canada government encouraging for PR and you are not doing anything illegal. so if your organization refuse to provide the letter then it will only make your case strong.

MEDICAL DONE: FEB 5 2014

I had my medicals done today, appointment was at 5 pm.. I arrive at 450 pm.. Filled in a couple of papers and consents... They the dr took me in, took a photo of me, asked me for a urine sample, then we went to the exam room, I took my shirt off. The doc looked into my ears and shined a light in my eye then asked me to follow his fingers with my eyes.. Then he listened to my heart , lungs and felt my tummy... Last thing did reflexes, weighed me and did the vision test. I paid the money and left with the req to do the x ray..

They said they will upload results within a week,.. The girl at the desk , whispered to me saying.. Call them on Monday, the doc who reads x ray is slow and lazy.. RPRF AND bio data already paid and done..

So now the wait for the passport request begin...

Does anyone know how many photos I need and what are the requirememts for them, so I can do them and be prepared for the passport request

Looked like a dream for me last year.. Weather was shitty today and the doc asked me if I still want to go.. I said I will come no matter what, as I wanted this to get done and wanted to get over that ...

I wish that everyone who is waiting to get accepted and pass through these happy and costly moments..
