May 2012: Spouse & Dependent Children Sponsorship, Timeline, Manila Visa Office.

Hello everyone,

I just would like to ask if there are any other requirements before departure? is it PDOS at CFO only right? If yes, how long would it take until I receive my CFO sticker on my passport? Do I have to wait a few weeks after the seminar?

and PDOS should only be done in Manila? or Can I do it in Cebu also?

I just joined in but I was observing everyone in this forum thread in the past 200 days. =)

Sorry for the questions coz im just a bit confused.

It's only PDOS-CFO will be needed if already have the visa. Sticker can be given the same day after the seminar and counselling. U can also do it CEbu.

hello po... are they sending back the passport to us with visa in it po ba or what ... how will we know we get our visa ...tnx po...

Yes, When you open your passport there should be a visa sticked on a page of your passport. Its a glossy thin film like with your information on it. Plus, you will also get your COPR paperwork and extra documents. =)

Submitted documents to CIC : May 17 2012
Sponsor approval : August 27 2012
PPR: November 30 2012
Visa received: Jan 28 2013.

Wala pa, sept'12 applicant ako sis. tagal pa siguro hintayin ko. Hanggang July pa lng nakakatanggap ng PPR.
 
Time flies po... di nyo po mamalayan nandyan na yan. =) 2-3 months to go na lang po yan. Just in time for summer in Canada. =)
