thanks Tintin0126 that is very nice of you. I wish I could get news for the PPR so that at least i know it is moving. I have actually also read before that there are times when the application was never sent to the country where the person being sponsored lives, I hope that it is not the case for my wife's papers.

I am praying to hear from the VO next week... And that even if we are not together for our wedding anniversary, just atleast we get the PPR will be good enough and will give us more reason to celebrate!

Greentea I agree with you...it has been a tough 8 months since the papers were submitted. I really never thought it would take this long...I wish I could have been one of those that had their papers processed quicker

Papers were received here in Mississauga May 9, 2012 and i got an email around august saying that I was missing her medical information, I was sure that it was there so I sent them an email and mailed them a copy of the medical. On August 27 I got an email saying that i have been aprroved as a sponsor and they sent it to Manila, ECAS says application received and Medical results received as well...and that is how it has been since then. my wife also completed her medical in march 2012

What is your timeline?

Hi Richcda29, aw let's spread some good vibes.. I know in right time we will be with our family... but for your ease just try calling them if they recieve your application there in no harm in trying...

On my Ecas it only says decision made on sponsor, and is still application received for the applicant. no medical result received at all.. am i supposed to be seeing that on Ecas as well? The address showing is both the sponsor's address and it hasnt been changed till now. Will this means mine hasnt been touched by the VO at all?

I guess based on ur approval date as a sponsor most probably this month u will get PPR. My husbands approval was Aug.14, received by CEM on Aug.21, PPR Dec.20. Just hang on my friend PPR will be there in no time. I know the feeling coz i've been there. Stay positive and imagine that ur PPR is on it's way.

Hello unmeritedfavor, Taga Cebu ko ;D ilahan noh kay bisaya kaayo hehe! May applicant ko sis unya August sponsorship approval.. Huwat nalang ko og visa and hopefully this Week na maabot .. kapoy huwat oy mu-uli na akong banana karun hinapos sa bulan, ma worry nagyud ko kung this week dili pajud maabot ;D ikaw taga asa man ka?
