It wasn't working for me for
about 13 days total.....
Then it worked and the status
went from (Application recived )
To (in process ) after 9 months.
And on the same day - they requested to
do the remedical and hand over police repot.

Can't believe it. Got a letter in the mail, asking for my husbands medicals. Something that confuses me seeing as he had it done LAST SUMMER!!! :O

Looks like everything is going the hard way for us.

It only took 7 months to get sponsorship approval. And now this.....

But why would they want a re-med? :(

Has it been a year?
May be they want to make sure of
Some issues with medical.
I don't want to scare you
But sometimes if they find
Something wrong in my check ups
They ask you to take it again to omit
Any error.
This has happened to one of my friend.
Something wrong with his urine report
So they did the test again to make sure.
But it's turned out ok.

So no worries everything will be alright.

it is odd they ask for the medical to be redone, the only time they ask that is if it is expired, or unless you went to a doctor that didnt do his job. usually when you go to the doctor he doesnt submit your medical until you are 100 percent if he find something wrong with you he will call you and tell you that something is wrong with you, give you medication and when you finish come back again and do the test, unless that test is not 100 percent he will not sent it to immigration, so it's weird they ask you to redo it. but none the less it in a small delay and usually when they ask for meds usually they already have a decision on your application and the meds is just the icening on the cake, so hurry go do it and send it to them.

Now that i think about it I think this time WE may be the ones at fault :( We sent our application in May and a relative of ours told us that the medical exam is valid for only a year. Since we knew that we wouldn't be entering Canada until June or July, we had the meds done in July. The doctor sent them straight to London, but our application was still in mississauga at the time. So if the meds went to London, and our papers weren't there, then there was probably no way for them to know what application the meds belong to? :(
