this is what i was referring to i guess... so May 20th is as far back they have gone and April 11th or 13th i think on the other end... Im praying... i really want something sooon

I am May 24 applicant but still havent heard anything from the CPC...

I was refused student visa back on 2008 from VO - ND for financial reasons, have attached the original letter of the refusal letter while applying..

just wondering whether that is taking time for me to get the AOR's...

experts, do you think the student visa refusal will delay my process?

I dont think so it should be the reason.
are you the sponsor or the applicant ?
if the applicant then AOR means they will see the sponsor's background check not yours. you will be checked when the file will be sent to your VO
and CIC website shows they are working on applications received on april 11. I know quite few other May applicants are getting AORs and approvals but still you need not to be worried till the time the website says the date passed on your application.
So just have patience... I must these immigration things teach you patience a lot. ;D

same here.
you are kinda lucky as your VO is New Delhi as I have seen they request PPR at a very early stage.
and my VO. Ottawa.. or Los Angeles or...buffalo..CONFUSION
hoping will finish off the applications soon and hoping they will sort out this confusion very soon
