I was looking at the april spreadsheet and they seem to be going a lot slower than may, it seems very strange. Most are taking at least 90+ days and fewer have recieved sponsor approval than the ones in late may have! anyone know reason behind this or is there no reason just cic being strange.

Hoping it is a good sign for me anyway!!

Must be something to do with the new barcode system!

As said in the June thread, my wife received AOR by email yesterday! Application received on June 1.

Ive read your post there. Congrats again.
Mine was received June 15th.. Looking forward to receive mine soon too.

first of all just by reading the past 10 pages of any thread will get you your answer.

second when people have been waiting 90 days without any sign from cic and you got it in 40 maybe you shouldn't ask (at least not before searching a bit yourself)... if you search and don't find your answer ask anything you want and somebody will help.

but if you don't search it's just driving some people a bit more crazy

Thrilled for the end of May/early June folks who are receiving good news, but wishing that those patiently waiting who filed before them in April and May will have reason to do happy dances sooner rather than later. I believe we are all barcode applicants too...

Like KJG said, from one day and up. Depends on the case and also the provided documents, really.

You might also try logging into eCAS with the information provided in the AOR. Use the UCI number and the sponsor information. Use the application number and the applicant's information. Ours started working 2 days after the AOR email. eCAS is a bit hit and miss, though!
