Visa office is Buffalo...or, WAS Buffalo. Could be damn near anywhere now, I guess we'll hear about that.

All this nonsense to get someone in the country whose hometown is a couple hours' drive from here. Frustrating but necessary - and I know there's people on here with far worse situations than us!

Your file will get processed in Ottawa and then sent to L.A where your visa will be issued. They seem to be good at replying to emails and moving things along.

Yeah it is a long process. I really think spouses should get approved very quickly. 3 months max. This is torture.

Well technically both...the application will be processed by ottawa but the COPR ( confirmation of permanent residence) will be sent out by LA

For the people who have recieved their AOR's can you tell us what the email address or name it is that they send the email for AOR's from ICIC? I'm scared it will go in my junk mail and I will never get it.

hmmm they started April 2nd.....and May 28th.........and I guess they will meet in the middle!!!!!
