Yay, I'm next indeed. My husband who is sponsoring me was emailed the approval and he forwarded it to me. So we are steadily making it down the list Darque set up. Let's get me and Robyn's stats updated on malirca's list too.

FYI - the email came from CIC-Email_Communications_CPCM <CPCM-EXTCOM @ cic.gc.ca> and the subject line read "Citizenship & Immigration Canada – CPCM - Communication to Client."

Thanks, and I hope everyone gets there's quickly too. Given the confidentiality notice at the bottom of the letter, maybe it wasn't entirely legal of me to share this with everyone here.....but it sure was nice and helpful, I think! I'm sure CIC wouldn't mind me helping out my fellow waiters

So I realised that Visa Office meant where the PR app will be processed NOT where sponsorship is approved...LOL

So I have changed it to Rabat as my husband is in Morocco.

Hello all! I didn't realise there was a May '11 thread. We sent our forms to Mississauga on May 13th and they were received on May 16th. Still waiting to hear about sponsorship approval. It seems to be dragging! I'm sponsoring my common law partner (living in the UK) and our daughter (living here in Canada with me).

Darque, I wouldn't be too worried. Judging from other people's cases, it takes around a month (not exactly 30 days though) for an approval to be issued. So if I'm not mistaken, going from the date you filed, you should be getting news from CPC anytime this coming week (June 6 through 10).

So, I'd say stand by and leave those fingernails alone!!!

lol, I've bitten them all off already, sore and bloody :-[

I'm not too worried, just a bit anxious as it slowly get closer to finding out if I'm approved as a sponsor.
