MAY 2011 Application- Process and Timeline

Dear friends,
Today i came to know through my friend that he has received a package from CIC.Actually i am on vacation in Pakistan these days and i had lodged my application from Saudi Arabia where i work.I presume that it could be the same mail about which CIO mentioned in their e-mail to me that i have got a possitive eligibility review and a mail has been sent to you in this regards.Just want to know whether everyone who received PER has received this snail mail OR it could be something else.Should i wait for one month till i go back to Saudi Arabia and have a look at it OR i should ask my friend to just open the package and see what it actually contains !!Few words of suggestion in this regards would be appreciated.

i guess PER comes through email only and the same you already have recieved.
it might be AOR from VO or CIC may have returned you some extra orignals.

No idea Hasni. I have not received anything in Snail mail till today. You can ask him what is the size of the envelope. If its a PER it might be a small envelope, if they are documents it might be a bigger envelope. IF you trust your friend, you should ask him to open it up and check if there is something important in it. And Email you a scanned copy.

As you have already received you PER, I wonder what else it could be if not AOR from VO. I am yet to see someone who receives additional notification of PER thru snail mail. I will suggest you let you friend open the letter (if you trust him) or give it to your family member to open and scan for u. My hunch is it is AOR....Mandie

ND VO send me a letter with some queries and with the help of my consultant i again arrange the papers and notarized and send them to ND VO....my status RBVO is from last 3 months that is still RBVO.....

i don't know VO call my employer or not as i have left that job....

now hoping will get some good news soon!!!!!!!!!!
