MAY 2011 Application- Process and Timeline

hi to everyone.

my father just applied us for permanent residence in canada and the first letter was on feb"2010 application forrm for permanent residence in canada.
Next letter about to send the sponsor contact details and 6 passport size of us that was march 2010.
Next was june 2010 they require me to nso and nbi clearance for to continue the processing bcuz i lack of giving of my nso and nbi clearance.
Last letter was on June 2010 asking for me a medical and i make in on july 2010.

Now me and my sister still waiting for visa my father ask me to wait starting on april 2011 he really expecting to receive our visa this year and now I dont if we'll gonna enrol on june 2011 . My father said that il wait and not to enroll but my sister wil go to school on june. so i dont wat to do?

We really want to get our visa before the school comes. Help us. can you say when our visa will come? this june or this year or next year and take another medical

Better try and post on the main forum. We are all May 2011 applicants and most of us are not experts

Very valid point raised. I had no idea about it :-X And now I am worried... :'(

I will request some senior (qorax / PMM etc) to take a look at this post and reply if possible.
Lets hope that all our effort in compiling docs and stuff, are not in vain, not to mention the agonizing wait for the documents to arrive by snail mail.

My concern is right isnt it? experts should highlight on this.

The problem is that I do not have a birth certificate and I sent those for my wife and daughter .
So you suppose work experience document for my wife is not that important
Funds are enough in the bank and whenever they will ask for new certificate again they will see more money and never less .
I considered that my wife belong to VO that is different from mine so she do not need to fill this applicatin

1. As I understand and have seen on forums that birth certificate is a crucial document for them.
2. This might be acceptable.
3. If the funds are enough in your bank certificate then it should be ok.
4. I think you should have filled even for your wife no matter where she is we need to follow our respective VO instructions.

i am bs zoology and masters in environment and natural resources management graduate. i am an ongoing Phd in Education major in Biology student. to be honest, i just took the risk of sending it but i with less expectation. i just feel i need to send because of all the things i have done. if it will not be included in the 1,000 limit, then that is what God wants. i will wait for them to resend it and will reapply. i just wish our NOC is included again in the next list. if not then...i will make a next plan!

my case is a diff issue my dear. i submitted my documents to a migration agency in nov 2010.

that was a fraud migration agency (m/s global visas).
they simply informed me that they have submitted my file to govt authorities.

i waited for 2 months but my dd had never got encashed . then i asked them the despatch details.

i simply wasted my long time believeing this agency. it has got roots all over world

dont believe this agency pls.
then i applied directly. on 18th may
do u know the scope for biologist in canada? which is the best place for our noc2121?

actually i got manitoba pnp approval in 2002, however, we do not have sufficient fund that time and i was not able to process the visa in manila office. when i got here in uae in 2005, we prioritized saving money and bought some properties. it is only this december 2010 when my husband and i decided to re-apply to canada without any idea that there is a new list of occupations. i started completing my requirement in january 2011 and targeted to submit by april/may. that time, i never thought that cap for biologists will be reached. some of our requirements needs to be personally taken from manila hence i was able to complete it only before May 15. actually, i am not yet ready to go earlier than 2 years from now. my plan is to save more money and take the chance of immigrating there after 2-3 years. cic canada provides info for the biologist in canada but it varies in provinces. when i tried looking for some jobs related to my current work, Environmental Scientist or Consultant, I am seeing vacancies in Manitoba, Ontario and Calgary. I do not have much information other than that.

no i dont use any agency services even when in got my manitoba pnp approval before. i do not have any relatives in canada, only few friends. my husband is working in a hotel in uae. regards to you shijoal.

i still doubt about it and not sure i would go to canada if i get pr.

iam bit confused still.

what is your opinion?
i dont have anybody in canada. i feel it would be a risky affair.
