please keep this forum live and don't loose hope, I think VO officials are aware that our IELTS and Police certificates would expire, hopefully all of us must get the visa within one year from the date of 2nd AOR

Hello Gashe4peace

My NOC is 1111. i already joined the Nairobi visa office applicants thread. I am afraid some are saying that the post June applicants are processed first. Some even advised the pre June applicants to re-apply. This cannot be possible if the NOC has changed. In my opinion the procedure should be first come first serve basis. However, it seems that this forum is only for discussions, ideas and experiences. Can't there be a representation which could improve the visa processing system at Narobi?

I received my 2nd AOR two days ago by the regular mail and they said that within one year they will start process my case and I should contact them after 8 month if they don't contact me during this 8 months.

then what about the interview? do they require an interview to anyone who got the 2nd AOR?.

Interview is in rare cases and not for all the applicants.

we have received our 2nd AOR but Ecase id not opening with new application number its opening with old application number and inside details are same RBVO and pending review when it will go i process?

My too is the same...I got a new 2AOR number but it do not open when I put my 1AOR number it opens but says RBVO. Can anyone advice why I got a new file # with my 2 AOR # plz....

Hi Marchie
This is quite usual,every one get's a 2nd AOR with a new or the same File # or Client ID.
According to most of the forum members and CIC website 2nd AOR/File number is workable
when you are IN-PROCESS,so ckeep morale high and wait with patience,they must be working on
our files and an eligibility is being assessed,whenevr it's positively done,the 2nd File # will be
working showing the e-case.
By the way what's there in 2nd AOR exactlycan you just scan it ,i want to compare the contents.

Well, Raya, I recieved My AOR without any timeline and specific Interview notes. Like they said, "IF YOUR APPLICATION IS DETERMINED TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR PROCESSING, PROCESSING WILL BEGIN ON PRIORITY BASIS."

"INTERVIEW :
You will be notified of the appointment for your Interview, if required, approximately 6 weeks prior to the interview, and you will be provided further instructions at that time."

this is standard letter for 2nd AOR by VO.I got mine in may 2011 but its RBVO till to date

Received my 2nd AOR today. The letter was dated August 10. So I received it after 4 months of sending my full documents to london VO. Not bad considering I received my 1st AOR after 7 months. It says processing time is 12 months.
