Hi all,

I have very important question regarding IELTS and police certificate.

I have to send complete doc to London VO before 20 Feb, 2011. I have academic IELTS with band 7.0 that I did in last year 20FEB , 2010. I applied for general IELTS test in dec to appear in exam on 15 jan , but unfortunately got date of 12 Feb, 2011. I have to send complete documents before 20 Feb. Is it possible to send academic IELTS result ? I am pre june 26 applicant , sent applicaion to CIO on 21 May , 2010 and got AOR on 20 Oct , 2010.

Further I lived in three cities after 18 year of age. So do I need to provide police certificate for all of these three cities? or just for my current location? on my NIC there are two addresses. Please comment

I think IELTS result will not make any problem for you, If you have no problem with total point. Furthermore, They also accept Academic IELTS result. In addition to that, you have shown in ur applied forms that you lived in different three cities. Are these three cities situated in different countries ? If different countries, then you have to submit three different PCs. Otherwise, not.

In addition to that, you have shown in ur applied forms that you lived in different three cities. Are these three cities situated in different countries ? No dear,dont misguide anyone if u dont know,IELTS result does matter and good result is very important even if u have 67 points without ielts.My canadian friends told me that canadian govt. is very strict that immigrants with poor ielts should not come in even if they have job offers

I was asked for the RPRF in the same letter requesting our medicals. It has to be a bank draft in Canadian Dollars. Don't worry, once you are being processed they will ask you to carry out actions via letters.

For All of those who send full documents to CHC London, I think you guys and gals should start knocking the door of CHC London. Applicants receiving 2nd AOR in may 2010 have already passed more then 8 months.

Ok, then I m agree with you. However, I saw someone who got poor mark in IELTS. and got visa.

hello how are you doing? been quite some time. Some one messed up the whole spreadsheet which really pissed me off and i have been very busy lately so have not had time to create another besides not every one is as active as before so as to get their information for the spreadsheet. If i can get the information i would try and rebuild the spreadsheet again.

If every may applicant can start posting his or her details i would start filling it in that way we know the active ones and are able to keep tab on things going on

I have overall 7.0 band in Academic IELTS (speaking 7.0, Reading 7.0, Listening 7.5, Writing 6.5). This score gives me full 16 marks. I was just worried because it is Academic not General and also took in last year Feb 20 , 2010. As per latest OP6 manual , they require only General module and also should not be older than one year.

But these rules were not in OP6 manual before 26 June 2010 and I am May 2010 applicant. Hope it will work for me. Regarding PCC, Yes I have shown in forms that I lived in three different cities after 18 in the same country. So I would require PCC from my current location only ?

Well,I just want to informed you,even do I am not sure that this will affect you since you are a Pre June applicant regarding Ielts, those applicants who submitted after June 26 until October were advised to repeat Ielts from Academic to general,but however,those applicants who submitted their Documents last December 2010 received a refusal.

Come to think of it,I guess you will be not be affected.God bless and God luck.thanks!

we applied in the second half of april, but i guess that's close enough

our details:

1st aor 08.07.2010.
file transferred to vo vienna
full docs to vienna late in october 2010
2nd aor 03.11.2010.
request for additional docs in november
additional docs to vo vienna 23.12.2010.
e-cas 'in process' since 03.11.2010.
waiting for meds request...

anyone from vo vienna following this thread? wondering when to expect the meds request (fingers crossed it comes!)
2nd aor letter states vo vienna takes 8 months on average to process files - that would mean 8 months from 2nd aor to ppr if all goes well or what?
