By the Grace of Allah Almighty, I have just received our AOR a couple of minutes ago. Alhamdolillah, we are very happy now It just happened when we were totally hopeless and discouraged. Thanks to all guys who encouraged and kept the faith high.

This is really ridiculous.

We are struggling for our AOR and they are processing June & July-10 applications.

Secondly they are saying they have lot of applications for which they need time. Then how come they have time to process Jun & July-10 applications.

The link posted is for family class applications and is in a totally different route to Federal Skilled Worker, so you cannot really compare the timelines.

I want to ask something to everyone,

-If I want to apply to Australia as Student, the rejection of Canada Embassy could affect my future process to another country like Australia?

It will not impact. .. you can also apply for australian immigration directly ... instead of student visa... upto u ..

It should not have any impact for Australia. Take easy.

No, they mentioned that processing up to June 25. Many lucky people received their first AOR. How it comes our application submitted May10, charged August 10 not yet finalized!!!!!!!!!!!
I am very frustrated from this waiting tim, now 5 months 11 days.

I feel that this system is NOT fair, but we cannot do anything. It seems that the VO has great impact on the application process.

it is written in London Visa office instruction to send "photo copy of the form that you sent to the CIO"
but in email they are saying to get forms from links and fill them...
anyone who send doc to London, plz guide.

If they require the copies only, why they guide us to go to the link and down load the form, right?

There is only one difference in the new forms (links provided in the AOR) and the forms submitted by pre-June26 applicants. That difference is in Schedule 3 (introduced in Aug 2010). You can now specify priority of NOC if you have multiple NOCs in your application.

To fill old or new? We discussed this in the June forum. My take on this is that:

If you have major changes in your life since application is filed at CIO (like change of employer or, got married or, new addition to family, etc.) then, fill new form and provide explanation in a cover letter. Actually these major chanegs are also mentioned in the AOR.

If there are no major changes then submit the photocopies of old forms. This is also metioned in VO specific instructions.

hi everyone,
i need some info regarding application to VO.
do i need to send photo copy of my application forms or need to fill new one.
many people say to send copy and mention in cover letter about changes.
few say forget about old and send new forms (then what sense it makes to mention changes when you filling new forms)

please help me with this.

Dear YO....

listen carefully.... u have to send copies of ur previous forms along with the new filled and signed forms to VO.. its a MUST that u send new form with recent deted and signed.... and if ur VO require the copies then u have to submit...

now come to Changes in forms...... look if mistakenly u have entered a wrong DOB, SSC dates etc etc any thinggggggg, now its turn to sorrect it in the new forms.. and those correction (changes) must be companied by an explanation in the form of COVER LETTER..

Cove letter is the part of ur application in which u describe ur application very deeply to the Visa Officer to get get understanding of any confusing point or change in the application...

if you changed something in the new forms then u must have to describe it that WHY HAVE U CHANGED... if did not then he may ask you through a letter and put ur application in a HOLD position and wait for the ans from u.. think about it that how much will be consumed in this manner....

better is... to find out ur application's bottle necks and broaden them by the explanation in cover letter... thats all i can explain.. hope this helps to other alsoooooooo.....
