Hi Mates,

It is no longer news that the recent immigration review by Canada has really affected CIO processing and handling of applications. A lot of us are going through anxious moments while waiting for CC charge, DD encashment and/or issuance of AOR.

I sympathise with some of us whose application are returned, I advise that we should seek redress in line with the updated Op 6 guiding CIO and CHC to make our case. For some us still waiting, we should still be hopeful for the best.

I am yet to receive any information or news from the CIO regarding my application. It was received by CIO on May 19, 2010.

Let us hope for the best.

Let us hope for the best.If they are still working on MAy 3 applicants and still we have seen no effect of the work except for 2 AOR.Then i wonder when others Like may 12 applicants would get theirs.What we require now is patience.What i cannot comprehensive is the reason behind the delays in AORs since the first 2 received theirs

what i observed is that upto 26 april applicants eveything was going fast and smooth .only after 26 april all delays started i dont know why?if CIO WILL TAKE 4 MONTHS ION GIVING US 1ST AOR THEN OUR DOCUMENTS WHICH WE GOT WILL EXPIRE SOON.CIO should deal with post 26 june applicants where rules are different but like ur pre june 26 if delay then PCC WILL EXPIRE SOON,

Chill! Read the thread - that is why we do it, to help us see what is happening.

Two of the 3rd May applicants have their AOR and they both took about 2 weeks from CC being cashed. This should give you hope that yours will take a couple of weeks, not 4 months!

CIO mention in website that u start collecting pcc as soon as u submit ur aplication to CIO.now we collected and kept ready and its almost 4 months old since we sent our alication to CIO so what will happen?i renewed twice my saudi pcc.its not easy to get pcc all the time get renewed.

U don need to get PCC again n again...the PCC are valid if u get it within 3 months period of ur application to CIO....note that its CIO not Visa Office....

For Example if u sent ur initisal application to CIO to 5th May...ur PCC should be issued in between 5th Feb - 5th May period....its also mentioned clearly on the CIC Guide G37 that ur PCC should not be older than 03 months from the date u submit ur application to CIO
