wish we all get through as 213 is out now
any body knowing about what cases are being contacted these days.
as far as i know its still 15th april applicant and there is some backlog at CIO now.
even in my case i dont know about DD, if it has charged or no coz i sent it thru western union.

YoBoy from what I hear as well its around April15th-16th so I guess we still have 2 weeks to go - i think for us its going to be close to the 90 days limit. I dont think the CC for any of the May applicants has been charged yet. Hopefyully things move faster now.

Dear Folks

If you prepare your full documents but AOR gets delayed beyond 3 or 4 months, what will happen with Police certificates as they are valid only for 03 months.

Is the period considered from the date when you submit initial application to CIO or when you send full docs to specific Visa Office?

I am too much worried because dont want to go through the same hassle again to get the PCC....

Navali I suggest that you wait on the PCC since it does need to be just 3 months old - however i do believe that in the fast track the AOR needs to be recd max within 90 days so I would say within 45 days or so of your initial application you can start preparing - that is however assuming that there is nothing wrong with your initial application.

This is merely my opinion - I would request the more senior members to comment

The PCC should not be older than 3 months from the Date of applying to CIC. So if you have a PCC which is date in Jan 2010 that would not be accepted.

So we (May applicants) are fine if we apply for them now. I have started the process of getting my PCC for India and FBI Clearance.

Do not wait for applying PCC, sometimes they take time and we will be cutting close during document submitting time.

Better apply for docs at moment u need them.
