The real worry is they have stopped issuing VISA. They have not done even a single after strike.

This clearly suggest backlog of stamping is increasing and dont know why they are doing this? may be because of temp. staff is on duty.

If this will continue and strike will not get over then we will see that there will be no action after june MR completes and there will be again a period of dormancy and darkness.

?Ohh God...... So tensed period.... pl. comment what u all think on this???

Medical in 5 months of pregnancy should not be a problem if you are in Delhi but before heading for medicals you need to consult your wife gynae as well , when I went for medicals I have seen a pregnant women having x ray done with protective shield

Hello Sandy,
Nice to know you.

I received my medical-request through my agent and I have scheduled appointment at a medical center this coming week.

1. I have been asked to update all my previous apps (IMM 0008, 5669, 0008DEP, 5562, 0008SCHEDULE, 3, 5406, 5476)
2. Then I have the letter saying: Finally, you are required to provide the following, if they have not already been submitted and the list is:
a. PCC
b. passport-size photographs
c. Right of Permanent Residence fees
d. Proof of available funds
e. Passport/Travel Document
All the above has to be sent within 45-days from the date of the letter

Now, I already submitted my Proof of available funds when I submitted the Additional docs 2 years ago...should I ensure that I have 13,000 CAD in my bank-account and send them/CHC a current bank statement?
Please advise.

Regards,
Jerry

Hi ,

You need to make sure that you have the required funds in your account also you have to send a proof of funds again to NDVO

friends,
I've done medicals, preparing now for doc & PP submission.
I've got a doubt about PP submission.
On India.gc site, they have mentioned that PP can be submitted either to VFS or Visa office.which one is suitable and smooth as per yr opinion?
I think in VFS ,we can submit PP hand to hand and in ND VO,we can send PP through courier.Am I right or wrong?
Pl. guide .

You only need to send an email for them or submit the address and passport change info online. Follow the instructions on CIC website. It s easy.

Hi everyone,
I have a question which I hardly could find an answer to it in this forum.
I have already paid RPRF and passed the medical, updated my documents in April 2013 as they requested since they did not touch it for more than a year.
Now I am at the very last stage. I am a graduate student in the US. among those updates that I submitted in April, I updated my financial status for three family member (~19 K). Actually it was the best time for me to have that fund available. I had rented our apartment back home plus I had ~5K saving plus my newborn cash gifts from family members. I deposited that money to my account and got a reference letter which was showing an average of deposit and withdrawal but not in details for some personal reasons I took the money out of my account in 10 days. Now I received this email from CIC which asks me to show:

"Updated evidence of settlement funds (showing 6 months deposits/ withdrawals history) for yourself/ your spouse. If you are using more than 1 account you must provide all accounts. You should also provide documents to support any large deposits shown".

As I said I am a graduate student with limited income in the US, I think the officer has become suspicious if I borrowed this large fund from someone else however; I have enough evidence to prove that that money was mine. BUT!!

The question is: Do I need to explain why I took the whole money out of my account in 10 days? It s so dicey?!! please let me know your thoughts. Thanks, Afandy

Afandy,

Kindly check your PM, I sent you some suggestions,

Best Wishes,
