I am feeling very happy to tell you guys that we have received our medical.

Can anyone tell me what s the process now and it will take how much time now?

Do they still do any background checks?

May be today dont know exatly, My consultant called me up and said that they received my medicals. Website status is not updated.

I m going to meet consultant tomm. have to give him the big fees before getting my medicals in my hands.. he he. anyways, can u tell me how much time now it will take to complete the process??

@ Jaydeep - medical examination roughly takes a 5-6 hours. You can earmark that it'll take a full day. Do followup with the DMP for the proof of medicals. Afterwards your DMP will send your medical reports to your VO. then once again you (I'm also in the same boat) have to wait for PPR.

I got my medicals done on 17th June 2013.

Please confirm, you received only MR and no PPR, usually they send the both together !!!

of course they will send it back by normal post.my first application was returned by them in aug 2010 but i got it after some 4-5 months .now its understandable why it got lost thanks to india post .pretty unreliable
