Thanks, I have been working here (in Canada) even before I got PR so not much difference in that except a big relief that I am PR now. Wish you a speedy process.

No problem. being in NOC 2112 your application took bit more time compared to other guys.. I am right ?
I know people who got PR within a year or 18 months from your similar field...

Actually I got my PR much earlier compared to guys who applied with me. Other guys I know belonging to same NOC here, have not made it to PPR yet. It doesn't matter which NOC, it depends on the time when we apply. Under FSW, I knew ppl who applied in early January of 2010 have got PRs like in 6 months and then gradually who ever applied after March, the PRs came in like 10 months to 1 and half year. And those who applied like myself in May, got Prs in 2 yr few months and there ppl still yet to get. And the ppl who applied after June 26 2010 or later, have received PRs in again in 8 months or so as that period applications were segregated under different batch. I guess its more like batches wise based on time and category.

Yes, it looks like you are correct.. all depends on the time you applied.

Hi soop, i think we converse last time in another thread. Anyway my visa ofc is los angeles. Um just worried bec i read in another thread that the visa office can still ask for interview even after medical and also even if they ask for passport request they can still deny you of visa. I hoe i get my ppr soon.
