My initial application was recieved on may 7th, hope the new changes don't apply to my application, what do you guys think ?

I HEARD THERE ARE NO CHANGES....ITS JUST ALL RUMOURS.
IF THERE WERE CHANGES THEN THE NEW LIST WOULD BE PUT ON THE SITE

i agree, unless there are changes in the immigration site/guide then there is nothing to worry about.

I heard from many people that when the last list was published at their official website in NOV 2008 it was formerly annouced in feb 2008 and all the application sent between that period got rejected. Had they implemented it with prior notice or what..? Anybody has any idea?

this time there is no information whatsoever about any changes and when it will be implemented.
only in some consultants immigration agents sites its mentioned that there will be changes...probably to create panic

A quick question: I just sent my application. Today. and .. only after sending, I looked at the forms on the CIC website. Turns out they have changed the Application form IMM 0008. The new form is dated 04-2010. The old one was dated 10-2008. And I just filled out the older form I had.

Any comments? Anyone filled out the new form? Or did everyone fill out the new form and I am the only one with the old one? The new form adds a new question for the English / French under family details with this text:

If your native language is not English, French, which language do you use most frequently?
Options are: English, French and Neither for each family member.

For my application: I am applying NOC 4121 and am currently in Saudi Arabia.
