JUST GOT MY AOR.


one thing for everyone. i called them and i think its just because of that call as they have mentioned my new address on response whihc i gave them on call.

application received=4th may
DD = 4th Aug
AOR= 20 Oct

can anyone help me answer these questions:
i am currently gathering my documents to be submitted to the Manila Visa Office, as per required by FWS-CIO's AOR that i received.

1. Do i need to sign another form or just a photocopy of my initial application to the CIO will do? YES new form also with ols ones copies
2. Need to pay for another processing fee to the Manila Visa Office? NO, processing fee is already paid, u just have to pay RPRF fee only when u will be asked to pay at later stage after sending your full documents
3. Can i submit a notarized photocopy of my birth certificates or do i need to send them the originals taken from NSO? if you have orignal then send orignal, dont give them any stupid reason for rejection
4. Do i need to renew my Police Clearances? When i submitted my application to the CIO, they are still valid? What is their basis to determine if it's still valid? Your submission to the VO or the CIO? YES its will be more beneficial if send a new and fresh Police clearance, bcz i will have more validity than previous as you can see the delays, if they have not touched ur application for 4 months then ur previous learance will becom in effective, so better is to send new one....

now again same confusion, what should i do with my EILTS report.
it expired in Sep 2010. i applied in may 2010(i also sent CIO my EILTS report copy with application as it was required at that time) and i was suppose to get response in Aug.

now i read somewhere that EILTS should be valid from applcation to VO.

please help me with this.

Dear Friends,

I have a question. I applied to CIO in 1st week of May and i received my AOR from CIO in October. When i applied to CIO, i was working in India in an approved position. However in last week of September i left for United kingdom for studying (MBA). I want to know whether will i be ineligible if i am currently not working and studying. I already had more than 67 points when i made my application to CIO.

Its ok with ur situation, u can cont ur application, just write them to update ur status and provide them sufficient documents for ur previous job on which basis u applied and now left that job.. they do not concern of ON job or LEFT, they just look and ur job tenure (Experince) and duties performed under any NOC matched... thats alll.. dont worry about ur moving and Study etc....

just keep goinggggg, buuttttt in a formal manneerrr...

1) I received my police clearance certificate in islamabad today but it says its only valid for three months from todays date. i will send my documents in a month's time and its definitely gonna expire when chc london will view it. will they consider it or what??whats your views on that.

(2) my birth certificate is computerized and issued from CDA/DMA. is that acceptable??

its ok with ur situation, send them police cert u git and birth cert u have.... if ur police cert got expired mean while they would ask u for a new one... dnt worry about it.. they will not refuse further processing on this base.. bcz it was valid when u submited...

Hello YoBoy

No problem at all. IELTS should be valid when we send the application to Sydney,NS. But its not required to have valid when you submit your application in the visa office. I was in the same boat. Mine was expired on 7th this month and I submitted my documents on 18th. I talked this issue with my consultant and he said I dont need to be worried for that. He is an expert doing this business for ages.

Take it easy, God luck for gathering all docs. Make sure you go through the application very thoroughly and iclude all possilbe docs which explains your qualifications and experience. Busines cards and recommentation letters from the employers or your supervisors can help much. I heared from my consultant that people with all good info in the application and good supporting documents get their visa processed fast in most cases, not always purely based on the time they submitted their application.

I think all of May applicants who have not received any reply from cic till now, will get their AORs soon. We can see the trend that no more rejections are coming. So be patient and wait for your D DAY...

hey buddy, its ok when u applied its was valid, send them the same and mention in ur cover letter that its was valid when u applied and the according to the CIO instructions its clear that it must be valid upon submission, previously it was not mandatory to submit it to CIO but after Apr 10th 2010, its mandatory to submit it to CIO... so it means its locked at submission upon CIO.. not VO.... its my conclusion... lets see what other says...

Hi, YO

You need to call at 16139444000 and then select options in this sequence 1...2...1...2....1

You would be placed in queue and after 5-10 minutes, your call would be attended by someone. The person would ask for client id. Since you don't have it, provide your name and DoB and then ask for your status & client id at last so you will be able to get ur application status online from CIC.GC.CA web site.. so dont forget to ask for client I.D

dont forget the time diffrence, cal them after 9:15am Canada time...
