MAXIMUM TIME CIC CAN STAY WITH AN APPLICANT'S PASSPORT

Hello everyone,

What could be the longest time a VO can keep an applicant's passport after request? For those who have already landed from "visa requiring" countries, what were your experiences?

There's no official maximum - however we've certainly seen visa offices hang on to passports for several months. Of course in many cases it's shorter than that.

Chrissey, you may also open MYCIC account and link the application. You may be able to know what is cooking.
The best option could be to order for your GCMS notes. I understand they are usually very detailed.
