Maximum length of stay for UK visitor to Canada

Hi to all. I am a new user and have many questions. But for now I would like to know if anyone can tell me what is the maximum lenght of time that a visitor from the UK is allowed to stay in Canada, and how long before they are allowed to re visit Canada ?
I Hope this question makes sense.

Typically, a UK citizen can be permitted to stay for up to 6 months at a time upon entry. If you want to stay this long then make it clear to the IO at the point of entry. Once in Canada you can apply for extensions to the visitor visa.
