Maximum delay in receiving passports from Delhi CHC

Hi,

Would any one please let me know if the Canadian consulate at Delhi takes more than 6 months of time to issue the visas for Canadian immigration post submission of Passports?

I had submitted my passports to the embassy in Delhi around the last week of Jan 2013 along with that of my spouse and son. We still have heard from them as yet. Would like to know if any of you have similar kind of experience. Do share your thoughts.

Our passports are in CHC NDVO since September :'(h 2012 ( now its almosr 1 year) & no updates yet and no response to our mails / query. . Don't know what to do??????? apart from this our medicals expires on September 8`th 2013 . Now i heard CHC Officer's are on strike and nothing is happening in CHC

Hi...mubu .....I sent PPRTS on april 6th 2013 to NDVO....not yet received PPRTS or visas....waiting..........

routine..... same 1st three lines in ecas till date

passport submitted on 23rd feb 2013. still waiting...
maybe we can see some action after august, when student visa rush is over.
lets hope we all get our passports soon and finish this last lap of never-ending race to canada.

:I submitted my and my spouse & son medical and passport in second weak of jan 2013 in delhi.after one month chc send letter for made new draft of landing fees due to some error in old draft.i send in feb 25.thereafter chc again required six month bank details on 22nd june.i send on25 june.now still waiting no response.
