Thanks for the response both.
1 more question.
My bachelors is in Engineering with 1 year experience in procurement but I am applying for a masters in Environmental Science/Policy.
Do you think this transition might affect my chances?
I only studied engineering in undergrad because I didn't really know what I wanted to do in the future so I decided to go for a strong undergrad degree![]()
Tbh i guess you should go for masters in your own field like MAC in Windsor etc otherwise VO may reject it on the basis of course mismatch. Strong SOP may get you a visa but why take a risk. Despite having strong background i got rejected so i would suggest you to be cautious, VO mood may state otherwise.
By MAC I think you mean masters in applied computing?
I think my undergrad (oil & gas engineering) is much closer to environmental policy/science (with research focus in sustainable resources) than MAC.. What do you think?
Thanks so far!![]()
Thank you for your help and advise !!Tbh i don’t know what your masters be in. But try to be in line with your previous education. I thought your bachelor was in CSE . But in short i want to say that don’t take in risks as no matter how good your profile is, visa officer mood will decide your visa.
Anytime brother.. Wish you best of luck and try consulting senior members.Thank you for your help and advise !!![]()
