Hi,

Do we need to get the bachelor's degree evaluated by WES as well in case someone has done Masters? I've gone through ECA website, however find their explanation a bit confusing.

Thanks in advance for the guidance.

You only need to get the masters evaluated in such cases.

First of all ,
my advice is don't go for WES,

use CES (University of Toronto) their requirement are simple for post secondary education.

if you go for WES, you will need to send all Secondary documents (directly sent to WES by Each issuing Institution)
+
all post secondary documents (Bachelor + Masters) need to be sent directly by issuing authorities.

if you go for CES, choose POST SECONDARY EVALUATION, in this case you will only need to send Post Secondary Documents (Bachelor +Masters), it will save a lot of time and energy.

choice is yours....?

WES is any day better than anyone else.

You need to evaluate only highest qualification, this case you just have to send your masters transcripts received from the institute in a sealed envelope to WES along with form and payment details.

Regards,

Always Submit supporting document of education i.e for master's submit bachelor's too and for bachelor's submit 10+2
It is recommended because WES may ask anyone and anytime....u never knows...

If you have a Masters Degree - you ONLY need to get the Masters degree evaluated.

You need to send the transcripts in a sealed envelope for the Masters Degree along with COPIES of the Master's Degree (from the Univ), COPIES of the mark sheets issued by the Univ corresponding to your Masters and a copy of the WES Payment receipt.

Mention your WES Reference number on the envelope. You receive this after a successful payment has been made to WES.

You do not need to send transcripts or copies of your Bachelors Degree.

You do not need to send copies of your Secondary Education.

Dear nishesh3003,

please you are giving this advice repeatedly, on the other thread you gave same advice as well, bro please double check, the advice you are giving is not right? i think you mis-understood WES requirements?

WES has different products, single degree evaluation , single subject evaluation etc etc,

but if the applicant want to apply for FSW 2014, then WES has a total different product which is required by CIC, it is FSW 2014 ECA (Full package, ) it is called "Document by Document Evaluation" this is the only acceptable ECA for CIC.
all other products like "Single Degree evaluation", "single subject evaluation" these are not acceptable by CIC.

for "documents by documents" evaluation, the applicant MUST need to send all his credentials, SSC + HSSC + BA + MA etc,
then WES WILL DECIDE WHETHER THE DEGREE IS EQUIVALENT TO BACHELOR OR MASTER"

check WES website and go for FSW 2014 ECA link, don't check other evaluation link,
hope it will clear confusion.

Hi faheem

You can read Johnson's post before yours as well. And try and be a little subtle in your response.

I am not trying to give wrong advice to people here.

I got my WES assessment completed 3 Months back. My Highest qualification is Bachelors Degree from a Univ in India.

I only sent the following documents for evaluation purpose:

- University Transcript for my Bachelors Degree (Sealed and In Original).
- Copies of University Mark-sheets (Bachelors)
- Copies of University Degree Certificate (Bachelors)
- Copy of WES Payment Receipt.

I did NOT send my Secondary School documents. For FSW you only need to get your highest qualification evaluated. You don't need to provide CIC with an ECA report summarizing ALL your educational qualifications because for the points based system it simply does not matter.

If you hold a Master's Degree which was awarded by a University (and the Univ is recognized by WES) it is implied that a Bachelor's Degree will be a pre-requisite prior to being awarded the Masters Degree.

I would recommend the OP to post his query in the FSW 2014 Timeline and get this verified.

Is johnson a officer of WES..
Nishesh every candidate is different.....Even i got my WES report completed.

please read this email which i received from WES
Thank you for your e-mail. Usually WES recommends your higher education to be evaluated. However after you have submitted your documents and they have been reviewed by our evaluation team, if it is necessary WES might ask you to submit additional documents. Before our evaluation team review the documents, we cannot confirm whether you need to submit your first degree and the secondary education credential or not.

Looks like everybody is in a grey area then.

No Johnson is not. And neither are we. Everybody is talking out of experience here.

Hope you understand Nishesh..
I am not trying to blame you its just a matter that u didnt know about this.....

No worries. :)

I hope the OP gets the information he requested for.

I guess there is little difference based on the countries.

For India whatever I said and Nishesh said is perfectly right.

I have done like that.

I cannot comment for other other coutries.

If you have completed your education from Pakistan, WES needs to see all your educational documents (SSC+HSSC+BA+MA+PhD) ..... because they love Pakistan and like to give 'special' treatment to Pakistanis.

BUT If you have completed your education in (almost) all other countries (including india and Bangladesh), you only need to send them proof of your highest degree.
