Mason goes on 'unemployment' during the winter due to regulations... is this aid

Hello!

My husband is a full-fledged mason and is a part of Quebec's Construction Union. Unemployment gets taken out of his check every week, and during the winter months, he lives off of it. This is the way it works for all legal construction workers.

Is this considered Financial Aid?

No, it's considered employment insurance. It's fine.
