MSc is an academic degree. It's more valuable than M.Eng and gives an opportunity to pursue PhD afterwards. In contrast, M.Eng is a professionally oriented program. It takes less time to complete M.Eng in general. So, both programs will lead to a career in industry. If you want to go straightforward to a work force and not considering Phd in the future, I'd suggest MSc since it's faster and you'll study less.

Hello,

My profile is :

10th 80.40%
12th 81.83 %
BE Civil : 64.37%
IELTS 7 bands, with no band less than 6.5
Work Exp : 2.5 years of IT exp (no civil exp)

I was looking for some masters course in Civil Engineering in Canadian University.

Can you please help me know what are my chances considering I do not have Civil related work exp.

P.S : I have an admit from Centennial for Project Management, I am planning to take a chance with the universities as well.

Thanks.

try M.Eng Engineering Management from University of Ottawa.
you can finish this program in 2( if start in fall session) or maximum 3 semesters. low tuition fee. at completion, you would be eligible for 3 yr post grad work permit.

thanks for the reply.

Wont it be a case of profile miss match?

I was planning to apply for MEng in Civil.
