No - you certainly cannot land using the landing papers you have now. If you do so, you'll be committing misrepresentation and will never be able to sponsor your wife.

To be honest, it sounds like your lawyer has screwed up and doesn't know what he's doing. It wasn't enough simply to notify CIC that you've gotten married. You needed to submit a whole new set of documents to add your wife to your application - including PCCs for her and a medical. Did your lawyer do any of this? If not, then he messed up and didn't properly add your wife to your application. He should have done all of this back when you married last year - not when you received the passport request. You need to return your landing visa and let CIC know you've gotten married and then properly add your wife to your application. It will take several additional months to process your wife's part of the application before new landing papers can be issued.

Do not land using the landing papers you have now. Again, doing this will be misrepresentation. You'll never be able to sponsor your wife and you may have your own status revoked.

Might want to fire your lawyer too.

Yes, my lawyer already send these document.
Generic application form IMM008, all other additional document and original PCC copy. I ask him to give me any letter which come from CIC when you update my martial status. But he say we didn't got any notifications about martial status updation.how long it take to update status.

Thanks

As mentioned in my post, it will take several months for CIC to process the additional paperwork and add your spouse to your application. Hopefully they will be done soon - but it could take another few months. You shouldn't have mailed in your passport since the passport request you received was just for you (CIC didn't know you had a wife at that point). You need to return the landing visa that has been issued to you back to the visa office. Do not use it to land.

Hello,
As per discussion with my lawyer about martial status . So now again he putting application(appeal ) of my spouse for Quebec and federal immigration for update my martial status.
Now situation is that I am with my husband in newzealand on work visa but I apply my file from india because I m Indian citizen. My lawyer said that I have to come back to India to cancel my visa and landing documents but I got my visa stamping and landing documents from Sydney Australia because I am staying with my husband in nz on work visa and husband is permanent residency in nz. So please advice me I have to go back to India to cancel my visa and landing documents or I can send my visa and landing documents to Sydney Australia. Please advice me how long to take this to whole process.

I would strongly recommend you move over to the Express Entry section of the forum. There are several active threads there discussing these situations. You'll get the best advice there.

Not sure I'd listen to your lawyer - sounds like he doesn't know what he's doing. You don't have to "appeal" to update your marital status.
