No - you certainly cannot land using the landing papers you have now. If you do so, you'll be committing misrepresentation and will never be able to sponsor your wife.
To be honest, it sounds like your lawyer has screwed up and doesn't know what he's doing. It wasn't enough simply to notify CIC that you've gotten married. You needed to submit a whole new set of documents to add your wife to your application - including PCCs for her and a medical. Did your lawyer do any of this? If not, then he messed up and didn't properly add your wife to your application. He should have done all of this back when you married last year - not when you received the passport request. You need to return your landing visa and let CIC know you've gotten married and then properly add your wife to your application. It will take several additional months to process your wife's part of the application before new landing papers can be issued.
Do not land using the landing papers you have now. Again, doing this will be misrepresentation. You'll never be able to sponsor your wife and you may have your own status revoked.
Might want to fire your lawyer too.
