Hello everyone, I am from Alberta and my soon to be wife is in Russia. Here is our plan. I am going over in April to marry here. We met last In April 2010 while on vacation. While I am over there, and after we marry, can we apply for sponsorship at the Moscow embassy? or do we need to send our information to Mississauga, Ontario? if both are options, what do you recommend? Basically, I am going in April, then returning to Canada and she will follow as soon as she is allowed.. Thanks for any help...

You will be sponsoring her via the "outland" process, so the entire package must be sent to CPC-Mississauga for sponsor evaluation and approval (stage one) and then it goes to the embassy in Moscow for applicant evaluation and (hopefully!) approval (stage two). It's not an either/or for those offices, it's step one and step two.

Thanks for the info.. I will let her know. See what question she has me ask next, haha

here is a second part of question,,,,,so she will need to mail me all of her chat logs, photos, and 'evidence" that she has obtained, while in Russia and then i send all to Mississauga?

Yes, she should give you all the evidence that your relationship is genuine that she has. You can get it when you are over there getting married. Then you put everything in some sort of reasonable order, attach it all to the forms, and send it to Mississauga.

Thanks for the help..Yes, I will get them when I marry her, not mail them..She said the same thing to me,,haha
